The steepest road in NZ and possibly the world, in Dunedin. There were cars zipping up and down and there are houses right on top of the hill. How did they get the cranes up there?

Yellow Eyed Penguin in Oamaru. The penguins walked right up to us from the sea to their nest.. so cute! There are "Penguins Crossing" signs along the roads... and no... Penguins cant read.... LOL.... hahahahaha

Oamaru and the historical white stone buildings. So quaint! I expected to see horse drawn carriages and ladies with parasols strolling along....

White Cliffs along the way between Mt Cook and Oamaru. Had to drive thru unsealed roads. Looks a bit like Cappadoccia in Turkey.

The Hermitage at Mt Cook. We managed to get a room with the view of Mt Cook. Absolutely Splendid!

A statue of Sir Edmund Hillary in front of the museum displaying his humble life story. He's looking at the Mountain he practiced on before attempting Mt Everest.
