It Feels Like Its Christmas

Hello Hello!
Doesnt it feel like christmas? The rain, the gusty winds, the fresh air. Its almost here. I hope to have a white christmas. With some luck and lots of hope, I may just have it. Hahahahahahaha..... I'm dreaming of a white christmas...... All it needs is for the plane to hmmm... unethical but...... for the plane to be grounded in Frankfurt. (cross fingers) *blizzard blizzard* We'll be heading east to eastern europe, hopefully hitting Poland and its surrounds and hopefully passing by(with a night or 2) in Austria. More When I get back!

Bread
Found some time to bake. Had this strong urge to let out the bakeress in me. Since I dug out all my baking stuff, I thought I might as well bake 2 different kinds of bread. I made the Italian Ciabatta which is really easy to do with mainly instant yeast and olive oil and salt and the Jewish Challah, a soft buttery plait texture.

SSC Rugby

After the Rugby World Cup I was inspired to behave like a rugger, especially when provoked... so beware! I love the game, its brutal yet classy in its own way. I think what I love most was that the guys are big (pity that not all are as good looking). Armed with my new Pana FZ18, with an 18x zoom and good image stabilizer, I managed to catch some real men in action over the weekend. It was just 7 a side, nothing like the full thing but there was some eye candy to be had (if u are single.... hahah) Since I am a (rather) true blue fan, I watched the game more than I took shots so I din get many. Here's one. We bought the shirts for abt $30 and got caught in the rain on Sunday.

Lei Garden

I have blogged abt this previously. Here are the photos of the yummy food.
Tan tart. This eggcustard pastry simply melts in your mouth. Its fantastic. 11/10!

Leisha (dont know the correct spelling) Tang yuan. Coated with peanut with an ooozy black sesame filling. The best!
