A Perfect Day for Tennis II

Yup! It was a beautiful day for tennis. The sun was hidden, slight humidity not much heat. Nice. But I wasnt feeling all up for tennis and I guess it was shown all over my face. Affected. Seriously reflecting, I seldom get so upset, it only happened once other than this in this year. But it didnt affect my tennis I must say, so the losing of 6-2, 1-4 was not because because of the incident but of my pathetic playing skills. Hmmm.... need more private lessons.... LET ME WIN!

Anyway, it was a long day. Mentally tired. Emotionally drained. Had to counsell and talk... on a Sat... what kinda 5 day work week is this.......

So we went to Pearl River Palace at Suntec City for Dinner
Food: Excellent 8.4/10
Buffet: ala carte buffet of Gong Bao Prawn (Excellent 10/10), mini buddha jumps over the wall is very very good, the ribs in chef's sauce was excellent. and the dessert buffet is a help yourself to a good durian pudding (7.3/10) and black sesame paste (7.8/10)
Price: abt $32+++

Then went to Carrefour to walk ard till it closes at 11pm. Nice. Felt better after.

Over the past week, some highlights were

1) Jogging after dark
reminded me of jogging in NUS when I was staying in the hostel. I remember going down to the track at like 12 midnight to jog ard like got 20 rounds. Lovely weather. So cool, jogging under the stars. I could go on and on.... perhaps thats why I was slightly thinner.... inaddition to the stress of honours year.... hmmm mabbie i shd run at night


2) Via Mar
We went back there again for the paella. The service SUCKS. Baby squid is the most delicious! Squid ink paella was alright. filling. Baby sonia came with her parents. SHe is the sweetest little angel ever. bigger now.pretty. Carried her ard. they had some indianmusic night thing which was just groovy.

3) Din play much tennis this week sad

4) mixed doubles
played our first mixed doubles tog. i sucked big time. kill me

5) rained
it rained like 5 mins for a few afternoons just to give the courts a good bath then stopped. how to play like that?
