Hi everyone! Its been a pretty long while since I blogged. First things first.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JULES! I know I missed it my miles but I hope you had a great time on your birthday. Stay young and optimistic and ever so cheerful!
Happy Birthday Cupcake! Kisses & Hugs!
Actually I blogged once before but something happened, some click of the worng button etc and everything was gone. Anyway, I have tonnes to blog about. Shall we start with food or tennis?
Food: Been to so many great places lately.
Liquid Kitchen
We just went there yesterday. They have really good meals and deals. Most people think they are just a dessert and drink hangout but.......
Decor: cosy, great comfy chairs, tv (grab the remote and change it from stupid soccer to great tennis!) nice atmosphere and music
Food: Great stuff, we had the bangers and mash and the pasta. Not too bad, got some standard. Their desserts are just lip smacking yummy!
Deals: At least their happy hour is real. 20% off drinks unlike across the road where a pint (1L) cost $18 (outside only about $9)and their happy hour is buy 1 get one free. We're like .."duh!!!" They also have some 50% off and some other deals everyday of the week like, show them 3 different colors etc... fun.
Rating: 8/10, not very ex, great food, fantastic place to catch up with friends, drink and chill
Best part: they open till late, like 1am and have many outlets. Serangoon garden, bukit timah, east coast rd, river valley etc
Va va Voom! Vietnamese
Bright and sunny orangey place, just opposite Raffles Hotel on Siah Street is this fantastic Vietnamese place. Cheap and Good! Highly recommended!
Food: we tried the grilled chop with rice and the spicy lemongrass beef curry with rice. Next time I'll try the pho.
Rating: 8.5/10. shiok!!!
Spanish Tapas n Bar
Located in Clarke Quay, quite prominently facing the river, you'll not miss this place, just take a peek in and you'll want your living room to look like this! the chairs were low so you can just slide down and catch a siesta while the food arrives, the music is so groovy and the decor puts you in Spain in a flash. Nothing better than to order a spanish cocktail and chill and unwind after a hard day's work!
Food: We had the seafood paella ($33+ for 2-3 px), lovely! and calamari, okiela.
Recommended for: girls who love to snack on tapas and chat for hours...couples, aiyah everyone lah... even if you have a one year old....
Rating: 8.3/10
Return: definitely! wanna go babes?
